Soup was good but will not serve a simple sandwich at 10:30 am because it's to early for the menu. Like meat on bread is so hard. Not!
Stopped in for lunch w our friends. The place is cash or check only, which is fine, but we were going to have to walk a block to the ATM. Sat down and ordered drinks but then decided it wasn't for us. Tried to pay for our drinks, only to be met by an extremely rude server who seemed to be mad that we weren't staying to eat. Truly more of just a breakfast place w only a few lunch options. Won't be going back.
Nice, homey restaurant. Waited 15 minutes to be seated. Wait for breakfast was over half hour. Dont go if your blood sugar is low.
Went to this area a for a weekend getaway and wanted to eat somewhere local Sunday for breakfast/lunch. We decided to try this place after looking at the menu and saw that they were open til 2. Once we arrived around noon, we were greeted with their closed sign being lit up. Thinking this may be a mistake and forgot to turn off (cause we could see people inside at tables) we went into the restaurant where the lady behind the counter told us that there were indeed closed 2 hours before their normal closed time and no explanation why. So much for supporting local businesses
I personally had a great experience. The pancakes, bacon and eggs were excellent, the prices were reasonable, and my server was friendly and attentive. Will be coming back if I'm ever in the area again.
