Thomas is a great hidden jewel in WV and the Cooper House is Thomas' jewel. Joy and Scruffy are great hosts and all of the rooms are beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in or around Thomas. Bed and Cocktail, you can't beat that.
This really is one of the most relaxing and fun places to hit up within a short drive of DMV. I try to go at least twice a year and look forward to my next visit...
Joy greeted us with a smile as well as her friendly dog :) We stayed in the queen bedroom for 2 nights and loved it! It was very clean and tidy and such a pretty place. She offers a cocktail in the evening although we never made it there to have one. We will try it next time. I love the view of the street from the window and the music coming from the Purple Fiddle! We will be back to stay (hopefully a lot!) in the near future.
I love staying at the Cooper House! It's right next door to the Purple Fiddle, so you can easily enjoy the music. The house is decorated with style and comfort. Joy takes great care of you, too!
